How to Fix Your Nervous System
And how overcoming stress begins with FOOD.

Did I ever tell you the story about my health in 2023-2024?
I quit drinking alcohol in 2021 and was riding a nice “pink cloud” for a few years feeling pretty good. But mid-2023, my stress and burnout had become SO bad that I was basically put on bed rest by my functional doctor.
I was diagnosed with POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome), I was having fainting spells, my blood sugar was all over the place, and my depression was 10/10 bad. I could hardly get up off the couch.
What came to the forefront: My nervous system had completely collapsed.
I had been living in such a state of high stress and overwhelm that my body literally couldn’t handle it any more.
Looking back, I can see that I was running on EMPTY for quite some time. And until 2021, alcohol was my #1 coping tool. I didn’t really know how to destress and unwind without alcohol. Not only did I not have any better tools, but alcohol was also robbing my body of the exact nutrients my body needed.
During this difficult time with my health, I was searching endlessly for solutions. I wore a blood sugar monitor, I found several significant nutritional deficiencies, and I had to take a good hard look at the stress in my life.
THAT is where the foundation for my new Regulate Method began.
I was feeling crappy, and knowing that I needed to eat better and move more. I wanted to show up for my wellness, but I wasn’t able to when my body was in fight-or-flight.
I crafted a plan to replenish my body from the ground up, made changes to lower my stress levels, and have the exact tools I need today to combat stress and overwhelm.
